General & PSIB Stream Supply Arrangements

e3 Office Furniture has it own General Stream SA for seating and it directly represents manufacturers with General Stream SA’s, such as, Tayco, Krug, ergoCentric, Nightingale, Allseating, Artopex, Workrite, BRC, Lacasse, Borgo, Bouty, Humanscale, Rouillard and ADI.  e3 Office Furniture is also an Authorized Dealer for Mi'kmaq Office Furniture & Interiors, which has PSIB Supply Arrangements for Furniture for Workplaces and Seating.

Working with Mi’kmaq Office Furniture, we can help departments procure their goods faster via the PSIB Supply Arrangement when the $$ value exceeds $25,000.  The following sections explain how the procurement process is “FAST Tracked” when a department voluntarily makes a procurement an Indigenous Set-Aside procurement contract.

    Why Use an Indigenous Supplier?

Set-Aside Procurement FAST TRACKED via PWGSC

The Government of Canada encourages government departments to voluntarily set-aside procurement opportunities to Indigenous businesses whenever practical to achieve their minimum 5% of total budget target.  Set-Asides over $25,000 are normally treated like an Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) in that the time that a procurement opportunity must be advertised on the Buy and Sell website is reduced.  With competition limited to qualified Indigenous businesses, the number of questions submitted from vendors for clarification of details is typically a fraction of the 100 plus that get submitted for General Stream SA tenders.   This in itself results in a quicker procurement time.  For further information on PSIB, please visit the Sourcing of requirements under Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB) set-asides

    Achieve your department’s performance objectives

Through our partnership with Mi’kmaq Office Furniture & Interiors, federal government departments can support the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Businesses (PSIB) and achieve their department’s established Indigenous procurement performance objectives.

All purchases from Mi’kmaq Office Furniture & Interiors are counted towards each department’s performance objectives with respect to contracting done with Indigenous owned businesses.
